Dear Alex:
I can’t believe you are married! I look at you and still see my beautiful, baby girl. You and I, we have done this journey together, and it is bittersweet to watch you begin your own journey! I remember way back when you were a baby and I was a single mom….I was so scared! I was a baby myself. How was I going to raise this little girl on my own. I remember the day I looked at you a decided….I was going to give you everything…no matter how hard. This little girl deserves a good life. I worked through school until I could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! Even though we didn’t have money, I tried my best to make every step of the journey fun. Then Eric stepped in and showed me that he loved my daughter as much as me, and that he was going to raise you like you were his own. I’m blessed on so many levels, and can’t express how proud I am of the woman you have become. From little girl, to feisty teen, to college graduate and wonderful mom, you will continue to make us proud parents. We love you beyond words. And TJ…you show us every day what an amazing dad you are, and amazing man you are. We are proud to have you as our son-in-law. Love you both so much!
